Get Involved: Volunteer with enke!

Since June 2012 enke has been providing support through various means to 175 of participants in the Youth Award program. These are young people who have been and continue to take action on pressing social issues within their communities.

In the month of April 2013 the enke team would like your assistance in helping us to wrap up the 2012 Youth Award program. This month we are looking to reach out to our 175 Youth Award participants through a Participant Support Outreach Drive. This drive allows us to find out how the participants and their community action projects (CAPs) experience has been. This is also a chance to connect directly with these amazing young individuals taking social action, hear their challenges and successes, as well as help them problem-solve and brainstorm solutions. Help us help our participants achieve success.

For each day during our 4 day Participant Support Outreach Drive we have a maximum of 3 volunteer spots (the number of phones we have available), but these are on a rolling basis, depending on your availability. You can come and call for an hour  or 2 hours – just let us know what time and/or day works best for you.

The Participant Support Outreach Drive will take place at the enke headquarters in Braamfontein, Johannesburg on the following dates:
