Case Studies 2011

Name(s): Morema ‘’Sky’’ Moloisi
Involvement: delegate at the 2011 enke: Forum
‘Every living being with blood in their veins would have to be inspired by what the enke team has done for us. That event was
really life changing. I’ve started to see things very differently. With reason, I no longer just act, enke’s inspiration is with me
wherever I go. I am going to offer my life as a prize of thanks, I’m going to make a change on this planet.’
- Sky, during a conversation with an enke team member
Morema, affectionately known as Sky to the enke family, started a CAP that seeks to improve Maths and Physical Science
Marks at his school. During the National Science Week he got permission from the school’s principal to hold a Science Day
with 15-20 learners from the Primary School. The aim was to get the learners excited and motivated about Science. The
program for the day included doing numerous science experiments, a tour through the Universe and the Solar System as
well as a Question & Answer session.
Sky was astounded by the enthusiasm of the kids and by the overall success of the day. His school was the only school in
the Mogodumo region that did anything for the National Science Week. “It’s funny how when you liberate others you
unconsciously liberate yourself. I didn’t know I had it in me. I want to do it again, I can, and I will make it even better.”
